I watched Halloween for the first time in YEARS last night…
and it just reminded me why I loved it so much as a teen. it’s fucking incredible, for its time. it still holds up now. sure, there are some corny moments and the dialogue isn’t great. but it laid the blueprint for every teen horror/slasher since then.
plus, I can play the Halloween theme on the piano. now I reeeeeeally wanna watch the rest of them.
